Personal Injury

Litigating a case is, in every instance, expensive, stressful and time consuming.  Accordingly, not only is mediation encouraged by state and superior court judges, it is mandated in most of the courts in South Georgia before a trial can be scheduled.

However, judges also recognize that for a mediation to be worthwhile and productive, it is necessary to have qualified and experienced mediators.  I am an experienced mediator certified by the state of Georgia and approved in numerous judicial circuits and courts in South Georgia, which comprise my practice area.  As an experienced trial lawyer and mediator, I have participated in hundreds of mediations and personal injury cases and I enjoy a reputation for hard work and honesty among both plaintiffs and defense attorneys.  Having  focused on defending personal injury actions as a trial lawyer in South Georgia for 30 years, I bring knowledge and insight to the evaluation of claims by insurers and third party administrators, which is invaluable in resolving claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability, defective products, etc.  I strive to construct a win-win solution to these very difficult claims, recognizing the defendants and insurers need to resolve the claim, while at the same time understanding the injured party’s needs as well.
